Din badal rahe the ,
Dil ke haal badal rahe the,
Dekhate dekhate saal bhi badal gaya....
Naya saal... nayee umang. reminds me beautiful lines by Ghalib

naye vaadon kaa jo Daalaa hai vo jaal achchhaa hai
rahanumaaon ne kahaa hai ke ye saal achchhaa hai

dil ke Khush rakhane ko Ghalib ye Khayaal achchhaa hai
